N&C recently partnered with ADC Gym in Cockfosters, North London, to supply acoustic and glazing solutions for its new boutique fitness studio. A key objective for the project was to create a visually impressive workout space whilst carefully managing sound levels to ensure neighbouring treatment rooms remained calm, comfortable and suitable for client appointments.
ADC Gym required a solution that would reduce sound reflection within the studio, minimise noise travelling to adjacent treatment rooms, open the perceived space through mirrors, complement the premium interior design and provide a durable, low-maintenance finish.
N&C supplied 21mm thick acoustic wall panels in the classic oak shade, creating a contemporary, elegant finish, whilst delivering a noticeably improved acoustic experience. Delivering a comprehensive solution, N&C Glass supplied bespoke floor-to-ceiling, edge-to-edge mirrors, increasing the perceived size of the studio and creating a premium finish for the boutique fitness environment.
By supplying both acoustic wall panels and a bespoke glazing solution, N&C provided a complete package that balanced performance with practicality. Members now experience a bright, welcoming and fresh studio, while neighbouring treatment rooms can continue with their quieter, relaxation appointments.
This project demonstrates how N&C can deliver a complete commercial interior solution by combining specialist products from across the Group. The acoustic panels have become an integral part of the studio’s design, making for a strong architectural statement while enhancing users’ experience.
